Chloe is the name of my pet Japanese Spitz. This is what I wore during the Pet Blessing held at Eastwood Mall last year.

The first time I went to a Pet Blessing event was when my college friends had their pups blessed in Greenhills. We were still in college then. So when I heard that there will be a Pet Blessing at Eastwood, I told my parents and we were all very happy to bring our Chloe there.

Here she is! Meet my dog, Chloe! Excuse her yellowish ears. She was on medication this time. Hihi. The event was organized by The Philippine Animal Welfare Society or PAWS. There were lots of cute and lovely dogs there!

Blazers. There’s just something about blazers that is so chic and classy. Last year, there was a time when all I wanted to buy were blazers. Haha! So I got blazers in different colors!

I think it’s actually hard to find the perfect blazer. There are a lot of blazers out in the market, since they never really go out of style, but based on my experience, it’s still difficult to find the perfect fit! I’ve had problems with the shoulder fit — because most blazers come with shoulder pads they’re usually too big for me. I feel like I’m wearing an american footballer’s uniform. Haha.

I was lucky to find blazers that fit me really well last year. And this is one of them! It’s from Zara and I absolutely love its bright yellow color! It’s sophisticated and structured but still casual and playful because of the vibrant color. I also love the contrast lining which is perfect when I roll up my sleeves.

Blazers can easily be matched with trousers, jeans, dresses, skirts or even shorts, like what I’m wearing here. I wore this outfit to a dinner out with my friends. So, what do you think about my blazer + shorts outfit? =)

One of my favorite international online stores is ROMWE. They have fabulous clothes, shoes and accessories! At first, I was reluctant to buy from international online stores because of the expensive shipping fees. Until I discovered ROMWE!

‘Tis the Season to be Chubby!

This was my outfit on Christmas Day. As I said on my previous blog post, my family and I always spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in my Dad’s hometown. We basically just eat and eat and then eat some more! Haha! I personally believe that gaining weight after the holidays is normal. I mean, who can resist all the party food?

I got this dress at SM Department Store’s Girls Teens’ Wear section. They have awesome clothes there! Dresses, blouses, shirts, shorts, skirts and pants! I’m really happy to live near an SM Mall. It’s just about 5 minutes away!

I noticed that my curls are more defined in these photos compared to my other recent photos. This is because my hair was still wet when these pictures were taken by my lovely mom! Ha!

Christmas Eve

Sorry for the very grainy photos! They were taken at around 8pm before I went to hear Mass (crappy phone camera + poor lighting = bad photos). Anyway, this is what I wore on Christmas Eve last year. I’ve had this cape dress for quite some time but I really planned to wear it during the Christmas season. I think the cape is perfect for the cool December breeze, don’t you think?

I’ve always spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my Dad’s side of the family in his hometown Concepcion, Tarlac. Well, except in 2010 when my dad had to be taken to the ER for a minor health scare and 2011 when Christmas Eve and Christmas Day fell on Saturday and Sunday. Christmas Eve for my family would be going to Mass at the local park at around 9pm so I thought it would be perfect to cover myself with a cape.

I absolutely love the belt I used here! It complemented my superhero dress! Haha! I’ve been looking for a wide metal belt for ages and I finally found one at SM Department Store! It was even on sale when I got it! I loooove SM Department Store!

Post Holiday Post

Hello everyone! Belated Happy Holidays! Sorry for the super duper late post and greeting. Been busy! Anyway, just like a lot of people, I want to do a lot of things this year and even though I’m not really good at keeping my New Year’s Resolutions, there’s still no harm in trying, right? Haha

Well, one of my resolutions is to dress better even on normal days (as I’ve read somewhere, “Dress like you’re going to meet your worst enemy…” or “Dress like you’re going to be murdered!” haha). So, I will try to do that this year! And, of course, with that, I hope I can post more outfit shots. Basically, the thing that hinders me from taking outfit shots is that I don’t have a decent camera and photographer. Bummer, I know. Oh well. So if there are photographers out there who want to take my outfit shots, feel free to contact me! Hahaha =)

I also want to be good at putting on makeup, especially eye shadows. I’m not a fan of putting eye makeup because my lids are so oily and my eyes are quite sensitive (they get itchy and teary-eyed). But last year, I bought 3 eye shadow palettes (Urban Decay’s Naked 2, Smoked and Naked Basics) so I think they will be a big waste if I don’t use them. I’ve already tried experimenting on looks with those palettes and I’m enjoying it so I will practice even more this year!

Oh yeah, I’ll be selling some of my clothes too! Those which I don’t use anymore or some of my impulse buys. I’ll be posting them here on my blog.

Anyhoo, that’s it for now. Here’s to a wonderful 2013!
